Important Booking Notice – Please Read Before Continuing

We are a family park and do not accept group bookings. We cater for families and couples only.

We consider a group to be a party size of more than two families or more than two couples.

Booking separately and pitching together with more than two families or two couples is not allowed.

Please refer to our term & conditions before booking Terms & Conditions > Lake District Campsite (parkfootullswater.co.uk) and do not book if you cannot adhere to our rules.

We expect everyone to be courteous, respectful and abide by the strict noise curfews of silence between 11pm and 8am.

Management reserves the right to refuse entry to the park and anyone causing a disturbance will be asked to leave with no refunds given.

At least one person on the booking must be at least 18 years old.

Opening & Closing Dates


Winter Check-in: latest check in is 5pm. If you are planning on arriving later, please contact us so we can make arrangements.
Sandall and Lakeside field are only open March – November.

Opening Date: 13th February 2026
Closing Date: 16th November 2026.

Booking Deposits

Rental Accommodations: We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. Bookings made less than 8 weeks from the arrival date will be required to pay the whole holiday costs at the time of booking.

Touring & Camping: We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance to be paid 2 weeks prior to arrival. Bookings made less than 2 weeks from the arrival date will be required to pay the whole holiday costs at the time of booking.

When making a booking, the debit/credit card must be registered to the address on the booking.

Touring & Camping

Electric hook up pitches (16 amp for Super electric pitches, 16 amp for Premium electric pitches and 10 amp for Standard electric pitches) are available on a fine camping gravel or hard standing to accommodate touring caravans, tents and motor homes. These must be booked in advanced. Car parking is next to your pitch. A digital TV aerial is required in the Lake District to receive signal.

Self Catering Accommodation

Cottages

We offer a selection of beautiful Lakeland self-catering cottages. Located both on park and around the village of Pooley Bridge, they are suitable for families or couples looking for the convenience of self-catering in the Lake District.

Lodges

We have five luxurious lodges (Aikbeck, Elderbeck, Redwood, Barton Lodge and Park Lodge) available to book throughout the year. These lodges can sleep between four and six persons depending on the lodge you have selected. All of our lodges come with a fully equipped kitchen, en-suite bathroom and and open plan lounge and dining room.
